LCD-Panel Sun and Dust Protection Version 8.0
The sun's rays and Wesley's dust can seriously wreak havoc on a very sensitive delicate high-resolution precision computer monitor. That is why I have created this newest innovation, the LP-SDP: ultra slim, ultra portable, ultra the best, must have technology.
Construction
Planning
Measure once, then later because you did a bad job. Also, make tape so that you can increase the length of the fabric that you accidentally cut too short.
Do Everything Emma Tells You To Do
- Cut and iron the fabric
- Top-stitch on both sides of the seam
- Sew across the corners, ignore any markings you made on the fabric - it makes the LP-SDP more boxy
Fitting
Put the prototype on the monitor and determine that you did not cut enough fabric. Emma will then tell you that you need to add binding to make up for your mistake and that you should probably make it out of scrap jelly-rolls. It is then your responsibility, not hers, to go into the bedroom and rummage through an infinite amount of fabric. Everything looks like fabric, but only some of the pieces are jelly-rolls. It is not really possible to tell the difference, but if you hold up each one to an Emma, they will say either "yes" or "no".
More Of Doing Everything Emma Tells You To Do
- Cut the jelly-roll so that you can then immediately sew it back together. Use chain-piecing to make efficient use of bobbin thread.
Find any random, but custom german-engineered iron and press seams open.
Man, these edges line up like ducks on their way to the pond.
Eject
After you notice that you have been sewing for a while but nothing is sticking, ask Emma what is going on and she will lead you on an adventure into the demonic depths under the surface of the machine.
Pure EVIL.
Finish
- Emma will undo your careful ironing, make some kind of Gordian Knot with the binding, cast a voodoo curse and tell you to sew here.
- Re-iron the affected area and then complete the binding ritual.
