Wes has some glasses that were somewhat expensive. In Oakley's dreamworld they would be able to retail the glasses for $179, but when I checked their website they were selling them for $123. I am not sure if they would sell them for $122. Probably not because it would not be profitable or some other reason that they would give.

The left eye lens had a fancy aftermarket fingerprint that was made out of glue. That was the first thing that I needed to remove due to me being an authroized fully licensed offical undercover secret Oakley inspector.

The left arm is separated from the lens frame and looks like the plastic hinge pins were severed at some point. The arm and frame looked like they had been glued together but the repair did not hold. Probably if the glue used was the infinite bond strength type then the previous reapir would have held, unfortunately the glue would have pervented one side of the glasses arm from folding. The glasses would have to be permanently opened. Which is good for quickly installing them onto a head, but bad for storage.

Excess glue was also removed from the contact point between frame and arm.

After removing the glue from the cavity in the frame one of the hinge pins was found glued to the side of the cavity. It was cut out and the glue was sanded off. The left arm was trimmed to remove excess glue and cuts were made to increase the bonding surface. Small metal pins were also inserted into the left arm to combat stress perpendicular toe the longitudinal axis. A small pool of epoxy was prepared and the arm was embedded into the pool.

When the epoxy cured excess epoxy was removed so that the arm was left with an extension at the tip. Material was removed from the epoxy extension until the tip fit into the frame cavity.

The pin holes in the frame were filled and then drilled with the arm installed so that a pin could be installed.

I did not have a reasonable pin so a piece of wire was used with the ends slightly bent to hold it in place. Until a better pin is found there is some wobble in the arm, but it is not unacceptable. The glases close properly for storage and so not over-extend when opening (they stop at the correct position).
